Álvaro Pérez-Kattar was born in Caracas-Venezuela, on June 21, 1984. He is a Communication Specialist and Librarian who graduated from the Central University of Venezuela. He has more than 18 years of experience working in radio and television, and he is the author of two books: “Optimistic, me?” and “Entrepreneur, me?”.

He has completed focused training in Personal Development, studied Ontological Coaching, Transcendental Meditation, and others related to positive psychology. Combined with his work in the media, these have helped him to achieve his personal mission; to share information with spirit and soul.  From a very young age, he has been a well-known voice and image of Venezuelan radio and television, presenting different programs related to interviews, news, entertainment, and even comedy.

As an image and commercial announcer, he has participated in important campaigns for brands such as:, Laboratorios Abbott, Schering Plought, Alfonso Rivas, Paisa Products, Yoka Venezuela (Parmalat), Lidotel, Gold's Gym, Santa Teresa, among others.

As a social entrepreneur, he has been an ambassador for organizations such as International Amnesty, the World Bank, The Youth for Human Rights Foundation and CECODAP. In 2008, the latter awarded him the Rafael Ángel García Young Communicator of the Year Prize for his contribution to the promotion and defense of the Human Rights of Venezuelan children and teenagers.

Currently, he is member of the staff of radio announcers "Onda, la superestación" in Venezuela. He is considered an ambassador of optimism and entrepreneurship for his series of conferences, boot camps and experiences based on his books and interviews, which are presented in different areas of Venezuela and the world.
